Moffitt Oaks is a premier event venue for many reasons. One of these reasons is our fabulous all inclusive wedding packages that leave our brides free to enjoy their dream day preparing for their vows. Each all inclusive package comes complete with your own wedding planner to assist in details, planning, and day-of management. While the exact details vary from wedding to wedding, your planner will offer experience, creativity, and design to your day and will assist in making your event truly your own.

 

What We Do:

Wedding planners do more than coordinate vendors. Many wedding planners will assist in the final selection of vendors as well as do much of the communicating on your behalf. He or she will also assist in the many details that go into the development and production of your wedding day.

What your Moffitt Oaks Wedding Planner will do for you

Pre-Planning:

  • Initial consultation and event venue tours
  • Developing the timeline of your event
  • Assist Décor selection
  • Serve as your middle man and point person
  • Finalizing food and beverage orders

Day of Planning:

  • Coordinating deliveries and arrivals of vendors
  • Help keep the night on schedule in accordance to the timeline created
  • Assist in visual aesthetics and helping to pull off a unified look that stays true to your style – room design
  • Handle set-up and take-down
  • Deal with any unexpected emergencies

At Moffitt Oaks we offer each bride an in-house wedding planner as part of our all inclusive packages and we also welcome our brides to bring in a second planner if they wish. Tricia Moffitt

Houston-Wedding-Coordinators

As the owner of Moffitt Oaks, Patricia has been helping Houston brides plan their dream weddings for three years. “Unofficially,” she’s been in the wedding and party planning industry for over thirty years. When asked what piece of advice she would give to a newly engaged couple in the beginning stages of planning a wedding, her advice would be, “Do your research, choose vendors carefully and only work with those you like.” Patricia will share on any given day, that her staff of creative, enthusiastic event planners makes her life easy.

Native to Tomball, Patricia enjoys managing all aspects of this amazing property and meeting the new people that come through the doors to share one of the most important days of their life. Patricia’s favorite part of the wedding usually happens towards the end of the events, and the bride and groom say it was the best day of their life. As far as her favorite part of event planning, Patricia believes she shines brightest in the coordination of design elements.

 

 

 

Chris Krauss

Houston-Wedding-Coordinators

You can call her Chris because by the end of your planning services, you will become friends. Chris was born in Chicago and graduated from Tomball High School. With two years in the events industry, Chris is available to help you through the entire wedding planning process.

“From start to finish, I love being a part of the whole process,” she says. Above all, Chris says brides should never be afraid to ask questions, that’s what your planner is there for, after all! With everything that goes into planning, coordinating and designing a wedding, Chris’s specialty is room design and layout.

“I ‘adopt’ my brides and they almost become like my daughters,” she says of the relationships formed. “At the end of the night, when the bride & groom tell me ‘This was the best day of my life’ that’s the best part of it all.”

 

 

 

Melissa Birch

Houston-Wedding-Coordinators

Melissa was born and raised in Katy, Texas and graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Public Relations and Business Administration. With five years in the event planning industry, her passion for event planning and design never dulls. When you ask her what her favorite part of being a wedding planner is, she is quick to answer:

“As a wedding planner, my job may end after the wedding, but I love to stay in touch with our couples. Over the course of planning the weddings, we become friends, and it’s important to us to stay connected after their wedding is over. It’s exciting to hear when they buy their first house or start their families”.

Melissa has been with Moffitt Oaks for two years, and for the past year took a break from weddings and planned corporate events. “Coming to Moffitt Oaks isn’t really working,” she explained. “When you are constantly laughing and poking fun at your co-workers, work then becomes family time. You cannot find the kind of love we each share for one another anywhere else than Moffitt Oaks. This reflect onto our couples, as we are all part of the Moffitt family”.

 

 

Lauren Benham

Houston-Wedding-Coordinators

Lauren has been in the event industry for five years which started after she attended The University of Houston, “Go Googs!” We love watching Lauren interact with the couples as she focuses on the couple’s best interest in mind.

“I have been told by multiple clients that my honesty is their favorite part of working with me. I try my best to make sure that every decision made and every question asked is going to benefit my couples in the long run”.

Lauren has a passion for building relationships with her couples. “I love bringing their vision and ideas to life,” she expressed.  “The wedding is or client’s special day, and I am here to make that day as stress-free as possible”.

 

 

 

Kimberli Bishop

I am from New York, and went to the University at Buffalo

How long have you been in the events industry?

Since I can’t remember when!

What is your favorite part of wedding planning?

Honestly – all of it!  I love LOVE!

If you could give your brides one piece of advice, what would it be?

Make sure to put a few days on the calendar each week where wedding talk is a no-no (and adhere to it!)….oh….and use the word fiancé as often as possible…this is the only time in your life to do so!

Describe your experience working for Moffitt Oaks.

We are all in the business of creating the best day ever for each individual bride!  We are fun, funny (maybe even a little crazy) and definitely know how to create magic in any situation.  Plus, our Moffitt Oaks family grows a little with each new bride and groom.  What in the world could be better?

What would you say is your wedding specialty?

Helping the happy couple not only prioritize what’s most important, but delegate wherever possible so they can stay “present” enough to really their engagement!

 

 

Sharon England

Sharon has been with Moffitt Oaks since its conception. The previous 25 years, Sharon and her husband were in the construction and remodeling business. She feels the fields are related in that they both involve working directly with clients in& visualizing and implementing their dreams.

As a veteran party planner, Sharon understands that a wedding is so much more than a party, however the behind the scenes planning, budgeting and completion are much the same. While Sharon enjoys the entire process of planning a wedding or special event from conception to final details, her favorite moment of each and every wedding is that “just married” smile.
